My 4 Favorite Sunscreens this Summer
I can’t believe we are already nearing the end of summer! All summer I have been testing (and retesting) different sunscreen brands and I want to share my 4 favorite ones I have been loving this summer (completely unsponsored, these are just my honest opinions!) Keep reading to find out which sunscreens made my short list!
Suntegrity Impeccable Skin SPF 30
Okay, this Suntegrity Impeccable Skin SPF 30 sunscreen has been one of my staple sunscreens this summer! It is completely mineral based, provides broad-spectrum coverage that protects against UVA and UVB rays, and is loaded with antioxidants and other high-quality skin care ingredients! The formula is also lightweight, breathable, and gives my skin a healthy glow all day long! It looks great under makeup or as makeup throughout the day! Sunbetter Tone Smart SPF 75 by Skinbetter Science
If you love high-tech science in skin care, you’ll love Skinbetter’s Tone Smart SPF 75! Not only is this sunscreen packed with UVA and UVB protecting mineral blockers, it also has tone adapting technology to seamlessly blend and match to most all skin tones! It also blurs fine lines, evens out skin tone, and decreases redness. The formula is made with only mineral blockers and helps prevent against premature aging associated with blue light from our screens. Since the formula matches really well with your skin tone, it doesn’t give off any sort of white cast! Tone smart is best applied right after your moisturizer to help it seamlessly glide across your skin and can be worn under makeup or as makeup for beautiful, glowing skin all day long! Highly, highly recommend!
Australian Gold Botanical Tinted SPF 50
WOW is this Australian Gold Botanical Tinted SPF 50 a great sunscreen! Even thought it is the most cost-effective brand on this list, the quality is highly impressive! It is a physical sunscreen that contains many of my must-have ingredients, and is a great choice for someone wanting a great sunscreen that won’t break the bank! I found myself reaching for this sunscreen over and over again this summer because it is that good! I love the silky smooth texture of this formula and it is so lightweight, it doesn’t feel like there’s anything on my skin. It gives my skin the perfect matte, but not too matte look, and held up the best under a full day of makeup! This lightweight formula also gives my skin just the right amount of coverage to feel confident wearing it as makeup throughout the day! Everyone could seriously benefit from this sunscreen!
Mineral Powder Sunscreen SPF 50
This last sunscreen is not a lotion, but a mineral sunscreen powder! I wouldn’t recommend this as your primary sunscreen type, but I highly recommend stashing this little stick in your car or your bag to use throughout the day along with your SPF lotion! It comes with an easy-to-use brush and is perfect for applying on top of your sunscreen lotion or makeup without any smudges! Ideally, it is recommended to reapply your sunscreen every 2 hours so great to use the powder if you’re at the beach or lake! The powder is lightweight and can also help combat shine throughout the day for oily skin types without making your makeup look cakey! There are so many brands out there, mine is from Topix, but I recommend looking at the ingredient list making sure it has the right ingredients, and start applying away!
